Columbia's Standards

The City of Columbia requires that cats and dogs over the age of three months be licensed. Animals can be licensed for 1-3 years, depending on the duration of their rabies vaccine. You can get your City of Columbia animal license and tags at either of Rolling Hills Veterinary Hospital locations during your regular exams. You can also purchase animal tags at the City of Columbia Cashier’s Office located on the first floor of the historic Daniel Boone Building, 701 East Broadway. You must provide proof of rabies vaccination to the Cashiers Office.
